A luffing tower crane’s jib blew over the rear in gale force winds in London, UK earlier today.
The Crane was set up alongside the Stanmore underground station, near
Edgeware in North London, the local police have confirmed that no one
was hurt in the incident, and that damage was largely restricted to the
crane.

The incident occurred as Storm Ciara caused ripped though a large swathe
of the UK with winds of up to 80mph. In number of other areas police
received numerous calls from residents reporting tower crane issues,
most, if not all of them simple weathervaning.
